Seaside strolls

January has been a slow starter for my intended photo shoots so far this year but a break from the recent rainy weather and a little time to myself allowed for a local foray to Dawlish Warren on Saturday. It was good to see that others decided to make the most of the conditions and take in the sea air at one of my favourite haunts, all of us glad to be able to get out of the house for a few hours before the next storm laden weather front gate crashes the rare sight of brighter skies and even a little sunshine. My camera bag was light, my Lumix G2 with my Lumix 25mm F1.4 attached, a lens I intend to use as part of a long term project throughout 2025, the 50mm full frame equivalent works well in the square format that has formed a large part of my image making in the last year or so.With February just over the horizon, I am looking forward to seeing signs of spring and longer hours of daylight slowly eroding those extended darker hours away, dare I even hope for less wet days too?
